I TOOK THE PROJECT WONDERFUL PLUNGE!

Today is a new day!
I took the Project Wonderful advertising campaign plunge. I'm still in the beginning stages of learning, delving and I'm sure falling on my face a few times but I'm a quick study. Thank you to Pam from PassItOnPlates (see her blog link on my sidebar) for her help in bringing this issue BACK to the forefront of my mind. I've been putting it off.
I have to admit, as an artist, the business side is not the most attractive side to this venture but I am will to do what it takes to get my art visible to the online world.
Visit Pam's blog and learn all you can right along with me! It wasn't too hard to get signed up. I'm confident that if I can figure it out in one morning, most people will be able to do it also!
Have a super Monday!
My yard work at The Olde Farmhouse is done, my exercise (1 hour on my recumbent bike) is done and I've tackled my new advertising venture.
Now I'm off to foil, foil, foil all of the 300+ pieces of the business sign I am ALMOST ready to solder and frame....Oh Jamie (in a sing-song whiny voice)...it's been quite the experience! I'd say some free hair extensions are in order along with the installation((wink and half-way kidding!))
To my supportive-online crew I am grateful, Laurie B.
I'm leaving you with this TO DIE FOR beautiful picture I took yesterday morning. This is a white moonflower REFLECTING the pink sunrise....it was stunning.
Enjoy even the smallest blessings!

How are you? 300 pieces? I can't wait to see the final result. I'm sure it will be stunning! xoxo

Wow, what an absolutely gorgeous flower Laurie! I thought it was pink until you mentioned it being white. Sounds like you've got quite a project going on with those 300 pieces but I'm sure whatever you're creating will be absolutely stunning!!

Is it the moonflower or morning glory that is so fragrant? I know they look similar...

BTW, I answered your PW question in a new blog post with some screen shots. Hope that helps!

Hi Pam! It's the moonflower that is fragrant..I love planting them with the morning glories...one blooms in the morning...one blooms at night! Thanks for all of your help with PW! I'm heading over to your blog now. You're the best!

Holey Moley, Laurie!
Check this out:

And then check out the website.
Hmmm... I may have to look into that. What do you think?

Oh, and I just have to mention...
Do you remember the phrase "Holey Moley, Rocky!" from Bridgemann's tv ads? This was quite a while ago and at the risk of dating ourselves I won't mention the year. In the ads, a guy said that when the Lalapalooza Sundae was placed in front of his friend? I think it had 8 scoops of ice cream... It was a HUGE treat and you got a medal if you ate it all. (My husband did it once when he was a kid. Sheesh!)

Anyway, that phrase popped into my mind because I think this winkelf site is a huge treat. I wonder what you have to do to get a medal, though. ☺

I sure do!! Too hilarious! I did go to WinkElf and signed up, did the phone verification (piece of cake) but man, I've been working on Project Wonderful all day so the thought of listing stuff on WinkElf...well, it will have to wait! Thank you SO much for telling me about the advanced search. It gave me what I was looking for, I save the search criteria and even asked for email updates that match the criteria I submitted. The site is really nice! So....now it is patiences...waiting for some sales!!!! *sigh
Can't wait to work on my plates. I want to give them as Christmas gifts. I always give food, homemade jams and such at Christmas time so this will be something NEW! I'm excited and it sticks with my mantra...recycle, recycle, recycle!!!! I also cleaned about 20 gourds and want to play with those, got my biz sign read for the soldering process and I must say, I'm beat! So, signing off for now. I'll have to check back in this evening to stay on top of my new PW campaign...I've had bids on my site!! I did put a bid in on WinkElf but it hasn't been approved yet. I see yours is on there! WAY cool! Thanks for the heads up on that site. It looks really interesting....may have to give it the ol'college try! With gratitude, Laurie B. http://www.27lauriebethbeggin.etsy.com

I'm using projectwonderful too, although more to make a few bucks than to advertise myself!

It was a bit confusing at first but I think you're right, once you get it, you get it.

Your stained glass is beautiful, by the way.

Found you thru entrecard!

Please visit my blog for an award you've received - thanks!

Ok, my campaign ended and I added one more comment on the "My August PW Campaign" post to show you how many views vs. clicks I got. Not bad.

Oh - and I looked for the rock in your slideshow but I'm not sure where to find the slideshow. Help?

-Pam
