- Artist Biography: Laurie Roskam had a long career in the legal field. She served as a Deputy Circuit Clerk, States Attorney Juvenile Division Director, and a Legislative Assistant to a Senator and Representative in the state of Wisconsin. Following her run in politics, she moved into the Real Estate arena in Central Illinois. After 25 years of working as a "professional" she decided it was time to take on other challenges. She became a Master Gardner, a Certified Herbologist through the East West Herb Courses, and a Stained Glass Commissioner.

I CALL her my designer dog LOL...She was a shelter dog and they ARE NOT a no-kill pet shelter. She was on her last week (death row) when I found her. I'd like to get her DNA tested to find out what she is. Everyone thinks she is part English sheep dog and she is FOR SURE part terrier. Her markings are like an English sheep dog but she only weighs 23 lbs. For $50.00 bucks I can find out what she is. Maybe I should take up a Paypal donation? LOL!! Whatever she is, she's sweet, adorable, a handful and VERY loving! With gratitude, Laurie B.
