- Artist Biography: Laurie Roskam had a long career in the legal field. She served as a Deputy Circuit Clerk, States Attorney Juvenile Division Director, and a Legislative Assistant to a Senator and Representative in the state of Wisconsin. Following her run in politics, she moved into the Real Estate arena in Central Illinois. After 25 years of working as a "professional" she decided it was time to take on other challenges. She became a Master Gardner, a Certified Herbologist through the East West Herb Courses, and a Stained Glass Commissioner.

Oh YES my friend, she IS a handful!! With six toes she can successfully open my flip phone, HOLD a pen, EAT a bananna...and I'm not kidding about the bananna! She got it down from the fruit bowl and was sitting on the floor biting through the peel. Joe said we will have to start worrying if she actually PEELS it! Heavens!
